From VA to LA and up to NC,

We've had quite a journey in your ministry.

Two times in TN - Presbytery and church,

Then back to NC - a new flock - an old church.

And now we're in GA with "peaches" and "dawgs" 

Dawn to dusk traveling, mountains and fogs.

We've been on this roller coaster for 30 wild years,

Not measured in time but in laughter and tears.

The people we've met, the lives we have touched

Changed us forever; we can't say enough.

They let us be us, took the good and the bad,

Loved us beyond words; that made leaving sad.

The journey's not over; NEGA has us now.

They are "adjusting"; they may wonder how!

Ken, your energy's boundless; your mind's always spinning.

It feels like the journey is just beginning.
